Cheydan, Himself. My current name is Tyler Quinton Sierra, but that is a name that I identify my past self with. I have found myself much more, and am currently finding myself even more. My true self, the person I am trying to be, I have already picked out a name for. Cheydan Amor Amanaki.
-Cheydan, an Afghan name meaning peaceful, patient. -Amor, a Spanish name meaning love. -Amanaki, a Polynesian name meaning hope. This is to be my name because of the meaning of these names. I believe in peace, that we can achieve that in this world. I believe love is beautiful, the best emotion you can feel. And there is always hope. Hope that the right thing will be done, hope that you will accomplish what you want in life, a hope in humanity. I believe in peace and equality. Everyone is equal to each other. The only thing that makes someone lesser of a person is their actions. If they chose to harm or not help another, that is what makes someone lesser of a person. No one is lesser of a person because of their ethnicity, gender, sexuality, likes and dislikes, religion, age, socioeconomic status, or any other reason like that. We are all equal, and we have to learn to accept our differences, and coexist. I love writing, it's a passion I have for sure, though I haven't made much time for it that will change now, and that is the reason for the creation of this website. I love music, it is another passion I have and a big part of my life. I currently play the euphonium and have had some practice and obtained some skills with the tuba, trumpet, ocarina, and piano. My favorite instrument is most certainly the piano, I hope to excel my abilities with that.. People should not think in terms of society. Society may view things in one way, but that does not make it the right way. We are all individual people with our own ideas and thoughts. There is no reason to think something simply because another person does. A prime example is society's view on gender roles. Society decides that only women should wear makeup and nail polish and skirts, it is socially acceptable for women only. Well, a man wearing makeup, nail polish, or a skirt does not harm anyone in any way, so why should we think it's weird? Because not many people do? Well, I'm sure if people didn't think about society's opinion then more people would. Even if not, there's no reason to think something is weird if it's what someone likes. I myself wear nail polish, not "masculine" colors, but whatever I like, including what society deems "feminine" colors. It is what I like, and there is no problem with it what so ever. I don't care what society thinks of my decision to wear nail polish. I like it, and so I will continue it. I am definitely here to discuss anything. If you need someone to talk to, if you have something you want to talk about, if you aren't sure about something, if you have any opinions on my work or thoughts, feel free to contact me any time. I'll do my best to reply soon. |
